Ford Raptor by broettonavarro Ford Raptor by broettonavarro
Ford Explorer Sport Trac, made by Maisto.
1/18 scale.

The only miniature I have in my collection that opens all the four doors.
Its spare tire, located underneath the bed, is also made of rubber.

I have this diecast too. In my opinion, it's one of the best from Maisto, I really like it. :)

If we're talking about Maisto, I have also Mercedes CLS, which opens all four doors too :)

Anyway, I just remembered about "My collection" journal entry, I have to update it... :) I have some new diecasts in collection. ^^

When I was younger, I fancied Maisto's 1/18 cars, but never got to get many. I prefer New Ray, personally.

Most of my 1:18 models were given to me as gifts =)

Same. But I collected mainly 1:18. 1:18 models I had from the Maisto selection was a 1999 Ford F-350 and the Ford Cobra, I had more 1:64 Maisto models. As a matter of fact, which I've said time and time before, my first car was a Maisto Spiderman Corvette.

I thought it was the real Ford Raptor... :) But it's the dinosaur on an Explorer Sport! Very nice!

Last week I saw a Ford Raptor here in the city.
I'm sure it's a damn rare car down here!

BTW, thanks for the kind words, ma'am =D

Fitting especially since the Ford Explorer and Velociraptor both played prominent roles in a certain 1993 blockbuster. ;)

Hahahaha I gotta be honest and tell you I didn't made the connection of the Explorers from Jurassic Park and this one!
I thought of the movie, but I didn't realise my model was an Explorer too :o

I guess the Ford Explorer is quite far from Soviet cars...

Heh glad you liked it, pal, Muchas gracias!

The second photo, the rear-quarter detail: the only light in the whole room came from the computer's monitor. The camera was standing still with the help of some books.
Camera's shutter speed was something like 2 seconds, ISO was probably 200. (I'll look for the exact infos tomorow)
All the shots were taken with manual focus =D
