OHMYGOD IT'S A...

One night I decided to take some photos of the streets. I went to a supermarket's parking lot, so I would have a better view of one of the city's avenue.
When I was getting my camera, I looked at the street and this car appeared... and drove away.

"OHMYGOD A SUPRA. DAMNIT I MISSED THE SUPRA!" I thought.

And I was wondering what were the chances of that Supra parking near by.
Ha!
When I noticed that a car was getting closer, I turned back, and I laughed "NOWAY!"

The Toyota Supra was slowing down, and parked some meters away from me.
I couldn't stay there without taking a photo of it.
So.... yea, here's the Supra I'm talking about.


What's to say about this car?
Well, Toyota never sold the Supra in Brasil.
Never sold the Supra, nor the Celica, nor the MR-2... no interesting car for us. I can say Toyota doesn't care about Brasil. They build the Corolla here, they import the Hilux from Argentina... and those are their main cars.
Two cars! Just two!
The Camry is awfuly expensive, and they don't even know they sell the RAV4 in Brasil.
C'mon! Toyota is one of the biggest car manufacturers in the world, we could have more models, eh?

Of course there are people with more money that can buy cars from private importers.
But even then, it's easier to find a Porsche or a Ferrari than a Toyota Supra on brazilian streets.

The Supra is one of those cars that I consider to be "sacred". Because I grew up with the Gran Turismo series, some cars are part of my childhood memories. But most of those cars I never saw in real life.

Mazda RX7, Nissan Skyline, Honda S2000, Acura NSX, Dodge Viper, Aston Martin DB7....
If I ever see one of those in real life, I won't hold myself...
