A late-80's, early-90's Chevrolet Opala.
An Opala Comodoro to be more specific.
Related to the Opel Rekord C, the Opala was the first car Chevrolet build in Brazil. Launched in 1968, coupe and station wagon versions were available during the lifetime of this car.
Considered a muscle car by many, the Opala has gathered a legion of fans over the years. The brazilian government (presidents included) used black Opalas during the 70's and 80's.
The Chevy Opala was retired after many facelifts, in 1992... more than 20 years after its debut.
A true blockbuster.
And mind you, these are highly collectible. Opalas in good conditions are worth quite a lot of cash.
