Mercedes 380 SEL, made by Hot Wheels.
This miniature is related to this other one I call the "Viagem".
Related, because they share something in common: these are the oldest miniatures I have in my collection.
And to be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if I find out that this Mercedes is actually the first diecast miniature I ever got. Both the Merc and the Viagem are part of my -scarce- first memories, back when I was about three years old.

The lil' Merc is worn out. Yes. But note how intact the body itself is!
Although I always treated my toys well, I was a kid. And kids don't care (or can't have) the same ammount of attention to their toys as grown-ups do. This Benz has probably been to the beach!
Also, notice that all the wheels (Ultrahot wheels!) are still there too.

On a side note, I used this car to experiment some "painting techniques" years ago. Some spots of the body received black paint, the tail lights were painted red, and the blinkers were also colored. The grill received some silver paint on some spots too.

Now that I read about the dog and I noticed it... I must show you something. One certain miniature... of Mercedes-Benz.

I see a little dog in the back seat!
And because of that, I believe I have the same one in burgundy! :happybounce:
